Upward Flag Football in Athens, TX

Upward is committed to developing not only the skills of your child but building their character as well. Upward is a faith-based sports program dedicated to using the power of sports to share the gospel and promote the discovery of Jesus in every community. Our coaches aim to help players grow in character, faith, and love of football!

Player Evaluations:

Player evaluations are designed to get to know our players and discover their beginning of season skill level. This is not a try-out. We use the scores to help divide teams as evenly as possible so that games are competitive and fair. In order to be placed on a team, each player is required to attend one of our evaluation dates, regardless of how long they have played in the league. We offer multiple dates to try to accommodate busy schedules.

Location: Coleman Park in Athens (in front of the baseball fields)

Practices:

• Begin the second week of August

• 1-2 days a week pre-season

• 1 day a week once season begins

Games:

• Tuesdays beginning September 3, 2024

• Season typically runs 6 weeks

• All games will be played at Coleman Park
