Upward is about more than just developing your child’s skills—we’re committed to building their character, too. As a faith-based program, we use the power of sports to share the gospel and help kids discover Jesus in every community.

Our coaches are dedicated to helping players grow in faith, character, skills, and a love for the game!

Player Evaluations:

These evaluations are simply to help us understand each player’s skill level at the start of the season. It’s not a try-out, so no matter your experience, we welcome everyone! The goal is to use the scores to split teams as evenly as possible, so every game is competitive and fun for everyone.

To be placed on a team, every player needs to attend at least one evaluation, no matter how long they've been part of the league. We offer several dates to make it easier to fit into your busy schedule.

Location: Coleman Park in Athens (in front of the baseball fields)

Dates (choose one):

• Saturday, August 2, 9-11 am

• Tuesday, August 5, 6-8 pm

• Saturday, August 9, 9-11 am

Practices:

• Begin the week of August 18

• 1-2 days a week pre-season

• 1 day a week once season begins

Games:

• Tuesdays beginning September 2, 2025

• Season runs 6 weeks

• All games will be played at Coleman Park in the baseball outfields
